211 Day and the 20th anniversary of Mass211 were proudly celebrated at the Massachusetts Statehouse, marking two decades of connecting residents to critical health and human services across the Commonwealth. The event honored the dedicated call takers of Mass 211 and Call2Talk, whose compassion and professionalism make a difference every day. Emcee David O’Leary led the program, with remarks from CEO Eileen Davis; Chris Besse, former Public Information Officer of the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency; Andrea Cosgrove from the Department of Children and Families; Paul Mina, Executive Director of Mass211 and President and CEO of United Way of Tri-County; and Senate President Karen Spilka. A special tribute recognized Paul Mina for his 20 years of leadership and vision in guiding Mass211’s growth and impact. As he prepares to step down from his role this summer, the celebration highlighted his lasting legacy and unwavering commitment to serving the people of Massachusetts.
