Ten MASS 2-1-1 Employees Receive Coveted Recognition

Mass211 is proud to announce that ten Mass211 staff has successfully passed an international certification examination in June for their profession. Certification is recognition of demonstrated competencies in the field of information and referral (I&R) that include the knowledge, skills, attitudes and work-related behaviors needed by I&R practitioners to successfully execute their duties.

The following were notified recently of their passing the examination for the Certified Information and Referral Specialist (CIRS):

- Pamela Fregeau -Carrillo
- Tara Chagnon
- Amy Federico
- Katrina Jacob
- Sareta Jorgensen
- Phillip Lambert
- Ronita Lewis
- Elisa Lopez


Additionally, Jodie Morrell was awarded Certification as a Resource Specialist (CRS). The Certified Resource Specialist designation acknowledges database management skills and knowledge including indexing databases
using the Taxonomy of Human Services. Jodie is one of only four Massachusetts residents to hold the CRS.
